Corporate photography for clothing manufacturer Charles Tyrwhitt

Corporate photography for clothing retail company Charles Tyrwhitt took place at various factory locations, including a shoot at Barker Shoes in Earls Barton, Northampton. The focus was on capturing the shoe manufacturing process in a natural and authentic way, using available light and fast equipment to showcase the speed and efficiency of the workers.

The images from the shoot were utilized as a central feature in the company’s catalogue and as wall art in their UK stores. This type of corporate photography not only highlights the craftsmanship and dedication of the workers but also serves as a powerful marketing tool for the brand.

By showcasing the behind-the-scenes process of shoe design and manufacture, Charles Tyrwhitt was able to connect with their customers on a deeper level, emphasizing the quality and attention to detail that goes into each pair of shoes. This type of visual storytelling through corporate photography can help build brand loyalty and trust among consumers.

Overall, the Barker Shoes factory shoot exemplifies the importance of high-quality corporate photography in showcasing the inner workings of a company and connecting with customers on a more personal level.

Ravelli Factory Shoot

My fourth factory visit for Charles Tyrwhitt, this time at their shirt suppliers in Istanbul, the renowned Ravelli. This was my fourth factory visit for the client, and it was a truly eye-opening experience. From capturing the intricate processes involved in creating a single shirt to highlighting the skilled workers on the factory floor, every moment was a photo opportunity.

The factory visit was a whirlwind of activity, with around 50 different processes to document. I worked closely with the client to determine which aspects of the production line would best showcase the quality and craftsmanship of the shirts. The ambient light in the factory was perfect for capturing all the details, and getting up close to the action was essential for creating impactful images.

The team at Ravelli was incredibly professional and comfortable in front of the camera, making my job as a commercial photographer a breeze. It was clear that they were no strangers to corporate photography, and their confidence in front of the lens really shone through in the final images.

After a successful day of shooting, I was treated to a special tour of the factory owner’s private collection of animal skins and safari trophies. It was a unique and unexpected experience that added an extra layer of intrigue to the shoot.

The photos from the Ravelli factory shoot will be featured prominently in Charles Tyrwhitt’s catalogue and displayed as wall art in their UK stores. It’s always a pleasure to see my work come to life in such a tangible way, and I can’t wait to see the impact these images will have on the client’s brand. Corporate photography at its finest!
